Why You’re About to Get Stuffed – AGAIN

I don’t know if politicians are born stupid, arrogant and out of touch, or if they have to go to some sort of special private school to learn these things…

…but they’ve openly stated they’re out to fleece us.

Yep, you and me.

Missed the announcement? It’s easy to see how, seeing as they dressed this declaration up as something that’s good for the country.

You see, the country’s suffering…. yes?  And we ALL have to make sacrifices… yes? We all have to pull together and all that… yes?

Well, let me spell out for you exactly what they mean buy us all pulling together…

Basically, over the next few years, the government are targeting the middle classes and are purposefully, spitefully going to squeeze as much tax out of us until our spines snap.

Think you’re safe? Think you’re part of the working class, or just an ordinary hard-working person who doesn’t earn enough for the government to be worried about (not when there are billionaires who crow about shifting their money about and dodging tax)…?

Well you’re in for a short, sharp, shock. Sorry – make that a long sharp shock. Because the government loves to rifle through your earnings to see how much they can steal from you.

We know that because last year they declared that avoiding tax legally is ‘morally’ wrong.

So basically, if you claim something you’re ENTITLED to, or use allowances that are well within the letter of the law, you’re a cheat. And they’re just not going to stand for this behaviour from us any more.

I know they’re serious about this, because last week I received a letter from the Revenue telling me they’d be looking to see if they could charge me more tax. And so did my wife. And so have about four friends of mine.

Basically, they’re shoving us against a wall and frisking us for our wallets, our jewellery, our loose change… anything they can get their hands on because people like you and me are the easy option.

And this is what REALLY galls me…

The benefit cheats and the billionaires get a
helping hand, while WE get shafted!

Ever watch the X-factor at all?

Last series a couple of absolutely lovely types turned up on the show…

One girl has over 140 convictions to her name (including a robbery where her boyfriend beat up a guy at a cash point and she stole £30 from his hand), while another guy has had ten kids with ten different women, and is off work with a bad back.

I KNOW I could make a joke here, but I’m too angry to be light hearted.

The girl’s claimed welfare for most of her adult life, and the guy has been claiming disability benefit for years, as well as all the child allowance he’s clocking  p.  Neither work (or if they do it’s not the type of work they pay tax on, neither contribute to society – unless you count making dogs howl when they sing as a contribution.)

But is anyone thinking about cutting THEIR benefits? Nah – that’d be too hard. That’d cause an outcry from bleeding heart do-gooders who think that people like you and me, who work hard and pay taxes, should support ANYONE from a rough background, no matter what choices they make.

So how about the high-end earners… the ones who hide money all round the world and pay accountants a fortune to  set up paper trails so complex that it’s take a century to unravel everything and see how much they REALLY make?

Do you think THEY’LL be asked to pay more? Do you think Nick Clegg has sidled up to Philip Green at a dinner party and told him that the way he handles his tax is morally wrong?

So if they won’t touch the scroungers, and they won’t touch the super rich – who does that leave? Who’s going to pay for the massive deficit caused by the bankers, the government and the FSA?

That’s right – me and you. We’re not only being told to tighten our belts, we’re not alone being told that jobs will go and cuts in public service will happen… we’re also being told that we’re not paying enough tax and that we’re somehow dishonest for claiming what’s ours and keeping what’s ours.

And in a time when there’s no public money, the government are spending £900MILLION on new enforcement teams whose prime objective, whose ONLY objective, is to squeeze more money from anyone that has a business, that’s self-employed, has worked hard and is doing well…

Basically, they’re taxing effort and ambition – and it makes me sick! This is yet ANOTHER attack on our right to wealth, and it’s made me determined to double my efforts to find ways for you to SAVE money, pay LESS tax, and make extra income.

And I couldn’t care less if the government brand me morally wrong.  Because if we sit back and do nothing, we’ll end up poorer. That’s the bottom line.

Hey – maybe I should go out and have ten kids with ten different women and live off the benefit. All right, I’d have a lot of explaining to do to the Mrs, but the government would leave me alone.

I have commissioned a special report from one of the best accountants I know who will be able to help you FIGHT back and save money. I’ll foot the bill for this. The report is yours for free. I don’t want you handing over a penny more to those grabbing thieves than you have to.

In the meantime, here’s an idea that could save you potentially thousands from one of the most miscalculated taxes out there…

No one in charge will tell you if you’re paying
too much, so check this now…

Council tax is one of those taxes that people moan about, but do very little about. But there’s a chance you could be paying way too much, because councils up and down the country made their banding decisions so haphazardly.

Basically at some point in time, a tired council worker has plodded past your house and made a snap decision about what it was worth.  But they’ve not revisited this valuation in 20 years and mistakes were made.

The easiest way to check that you’re not paying too much is to simple ask your neighbour what band they’re in and how much they’re paying. If  your houses are of a similar size, your council tax should be the same. If you’re not, you could be due a rebate… one that can be backdated 20 years!

If you don’t want to ask your neighbour, you can check on house valuations here.
